Service Description

The mind is a muscle that also needs strength training! Skill Building is the best selection for any child performing below grade level or wanting to perform above grade level. This service includes the following: *IXL membership to access a variety of math skills. Step-by-step skill building, practiced together on a virtual whiteboard. Give ongoing feedback of skill growths. Personalize instruction. Recommend effective study habits that are particular to your child's learning modality. Recommend skills to study in between tutor sessions. Empower students to trust their unique way of learning and retaining information. Before each skill building session, a Chool Bus tutor will prepare material targeting your child's specific weaknesses in math. These sessions are a way shape and sharpen prior maths skills and promote a gainful understanding of present math skills. *IXL is a learning platform with over 4500 math skills. After each Skill building session I will assign a math skill from IXL for your child to continue building at his/her own pace.
